The printers in this range are specifically designed for the tough hospitality environment of restaurant, pub and cafe's kitchens. They utilise an impact mechanism so that the printouts are not affected by heat as they would with thermal printers. Some models house the power supply in the casing, such as the Samsung Bixolon SRP-275, so that they are safe from damage and do not get in the way. Most models have optional wall mounting brackets and wet covers.
